Jyväskylä, Finland – Voima Ventures proudly announces its latest investment in Aisti, a Finnish technology company developing innovative wood fibre based acoustic tiles. Aisti’s €29 million Series A funding round will support the construction of its first commercial factory in Kitee, Finland, enabling the company to scale production of its patented Aisti® Teno tiles.
Aisti’s acoustic tiles provide a renewable alternative to traditional mineral wool materials, offering a human friendly solution that does not need plastic binders or irritating rock wool fibres in its production. Leveraging foam-forming technology, Aisti transforms lignocellulosic fibres into lightweight, porous tiles that excel in modern construction applications, from ceilings to thermal insulation and packaging.
“As the construction industry faces mounting challenges in reducing carbon emissions, Aisti’s carbon-sequestering tiles represent a transformative step toward greener building practices,” said Jussi Sainiemi, Partner at Voima Ventures. “We’re excited to support Aisti in scaling a solution that combines environmental impact with exceptional performance.”
The Series A funding round included participation from Maki.vc, the Valve Ventures consortium, and key public and private financiers, including a €7 million grant from the South Savo ELY Centre and an €8.5 million capital loan from the Finnish Climate Fund. Additional support came from Norion Bank and Finnvera.
With this funding, Aisti aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 2.5 million square meters by 2026, targeting the Nordic market’s growing demand for sustainable building materials. The company has already secured off-take agreements representing €6.8 million in annual value, equivalent to 3% of the Nordic acoustic solutions market.

We’re thrilled to have strong support from investors and other partners as we embark on this next growth phase and bring our product to market,” said Mikko Paananen, CEO and Founder of Aisti.
