Voima Ventures is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and performance driven Marketing Manager to join the team. In this role you get to work with inspiring game-changing deep tech startups, learn about innovative technologies and see how you personally have an impact in the tech ecosystem.

  • You are located in the Nordics or the Baltics, fluent in English (Swedish and/or Finnish is a plus)

Your role as a Marketing Manager

We offer you a unique opportunity to work with world-changing deep tech growth companies and you will get to deep dive into the Nordic venture capital community. The role includes various tasks around our marketing, communications and PR both for Voima Ventures and supporting our portfolio firms. As a Marketing Manager, you can expect to plan and execute Voima Ventures marketing operations including:

  • Planning and execution of our social media presence
  • Managing our social media profiles across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Consulting our portfolio companies on their brand, look & feel, recruiting and other marketing related topics 
  • Plan content and and write copy for press releases, blog posts, and social media
  • Increase our brand awareness and presence as an important deep tech ecosystem player across Nordics and Baltics through earned media & continuous PR presence 
  • Create compelling ways to showcase and improve Voime Ventures  thought leadership content we have across different formats and channels
  • Manage our newsletter strategy and implementation
  • Organize quarterly gatherings for our portfolio company CEOs
  • Identify continuous opportunities to improve processes, systems and templates and work cross functionally to execute them

The position duration is at minimum 12-18 months and the workload varies depending on your availability and the workload between 20-40 hours a week. We are looking for someone to join us during March 2022 but are flexible with the start date.

The position can be executed remotely but from time to time you must be able to visit our offices in Helsinki, Finland. The hiring process involves an initial phone conversation/meeting, followed by a practical and CV interview including a small example task, and lastly meeting with the team members.
