Open positions

What’s the challenge you would help us to solve and how?

MVision was born out of a deep desire to harness AI in winning the war on cancer. We exist to optimize radiotherapy treatment that 60% of all cancer patients undergo. As we continue to grow, our engineering team is in search of a new full-stack engineer. Would that be you?

Your tasks would include

  • Developing MVision web-based annotation platform written in WebGL
  • Developing tools for contouring (outlining) structures (e.g. organs) in 3D medical data (i.e. CT/MR scans)
  • Developing interface for work-flow management, i.e. assigning tasks to annotators and tracking their progress

We are a small crew so you will also get to affect the team’s best practices.

Skills we are looking for

  • Experience in UI and UX
  • JavaScript, React, TypeScript, NodeJS,
  • Python
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure)
  • Fluent in English (no Finnish required)
  • Sincere resonance to our cause
  • Self-motivation and desire to excel
  • That natural problem-solving attitude

We are looking for someone with about 2-3 years of experience. However, the number of years is not always the best measure of excellence – quite the contrary. So, if you have a bit fewer kilometers behind you but a strong and curious engine for the road ahead, bring it on!

It also is seen as an advantage if you are familiar with any of the following:

  • WebGL
  • Database technologies (e.g. SQL, CosmosDB)
  • DICOM
  • C#, .Net
  • Linux, Bash scripting
  • Machine learning and data pipeline

Make sure to mention the technologies you’ve used and maybe also where/how/when. You can be quite straight forward: the point of your application is to simply map out the technical competences. We will get to know each other better after that.

Apply by sending your CV and a potential cover letter to info@mvision.ai ASAP.

Position: Permanent, full time
Start: As soon as possible
Location: HQ in Helsinki but you choose where you work

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to info@mvision.ai.

Original job posting.

We are looking for a part-time Operations Coordinator to join our team on the quest to fight – and win – cancer with AI.

What’s the challenge you would help us to solve and how?

MVision was born out of a deep desire to harness AI in winning the war on cancer. We exist to optimize radiotherapy treatment that 60% of all cancer patients undergo.

With a growing number of cancer clinics putting their trust in our solution, our CEO and the whole management team have their hands more full than ever. This is where you come to the picture: We are looking for a natural organizer to take on some of the executive tasks.

Your tasks would include

You would be a vital part of the management team working closely with the CEO and team leaders. To make it as clear as possible, we’ve divided the tasks into four entities:

  • Office & facility management
  • Events & travel
  • Finance
  • HR

Office & faculty management makes 60% of the role. It includes tasks such as handling supply orders and office deliveries, meeting arrangements, and assisting the management team with other practical matters. In the future, you would also be the one to greet guests and coordinating practical matters at the office.

Events & travel refers to coordinating and arranging the practicalities of events and travel. Quite self-explanatory, right? Whether it’s a staff party, an offsite workshop, or a group trip, you have the strings in your hands. From coordinating the schedules to booking the tickets and of course, having fun.

Both HR and finance are quite straight forward. Your main HR-related task would be assisting with HR-routines (e.g. benefits, onboarding, information of occupational health). Finance is all about assisting with the practicalities such as invoicing, processing purchase invoices, checking travel invoices, and so on.

As a key player in developing MVision’s working environment, we are happy to hear new ideas from you – whether it is the interior design of the office or organizing a company event! We are a small crew and welcome you with open arms to develop the role towards your own interests.

Skills we are looking for

  • Studies in a relevant field
  • Some experience from similar roles (e.g. internship or summer job)
  • Natural organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Fluent skills in English, professional skills in Finnish
  • Sincere resonance to our cause

As you can see, the role description is a handful and we do not expect you to be a 360 professional with 10 years of experience. No, the key is your proactive attitude and the fact that while reading about the tasks above, you thought you could have fun with them, too. You are happy to learn and take on new tasks, take responsibility for your own work, and ask questions if necessary. The role includes a lot of internal communication, which underlines the importance of great interpersonal skills. With both colleagues and customers from around the world, it is vital you feel yourself at home in an international atmosphere.

Your experience from similar positions does not need to be calculated in years and it can be from for example internships, summer jobs, or even hobbies. Studies in relevant fields are also seen as an advantage. Most importantly we appreciate a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.

Apply by sending your CV and a cover letter to info@mvision.ai ASAP.

We are looking for a part-time person to work approximately 7,5-20 hours per week. There is a lot of flexibility in your working hours so this is an ideal job to match with your studies!

Apply: As soon as possible
Position: Part-time
Start: February
Location: Terkko Health Hub in Helsinki, currently remotely

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to info@mvision.ai or Marketing & Operations Manager Anni Mansikkaoja at anni.mansikkaoja@mvision.ai.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for an energetic and result driven person to strengthen our Sales & Business Development team in Espoo. As a product marketing manager, you are responsible for making your products “fly-off the shelf.” This role is not about doing demos or presenting product features (although these may sometimes occur). Rather, this role is the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results. You will be the product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.
You know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn’t guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful. You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. You are obsessed with tracking performance and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.In addition to the marketing team, you will regularly collaborate with product managers and sales channels; it’s a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to dive in.

Main responsibilities:

  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Assist in developing a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools.
  • Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • You will be working closely with our US team, therefore flexibility in working hours will be required.
  • Comfortable with remote work and traveling
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You should have good communication skills, open attitude and courageous mind so that you can successfully fill your position.

We offer an exciting international work environment and a highly talented world-class team beside you. We encourage and support each person in our team to develop themselves for future challenges. The position is full-time and starts as agreed.
